It is the first documentary of its kind, covering subjects that are often and almost everyone in this film has never ever been interviewed before, with the depth and honesty you will experience when you watch the film.

`Black Out` a play with a comical take on the otherwise mundane lives of an 80s householdAn epic comical play having many characters with many traits. The play portrays many facets like romance, swindling, flirtatious sarcasm and many more.The play uplifts how characters change the situation according to their needs, resulting into a lasting laughter journey.

Adishakti Production's BALI - Fri, 3rd Mar’23 - Sun, 5th Mar’23

The Play draws upon events in the Ramayana leading up to the epic battle between the brothers, Bali and Sugreeva. It is an encounter marked with resentment, pluckiness and subterfuge and Ram’s cloak and dagger complicity in Bali’s death. It raises questions about moral ambiguity, irrevocably blurring the line between the heroic and the iniquitous.The Play uses traditional methods from folk theatre to create moments of comic relief.The Play alternates between high drama and pathos and humour with a contemporary spiel.

MINDful Cinema (Movie screening of "My Sister") - Sat, 4th Mar’23On 4th March

Lahe Lahe screen movie "Sister" After Susan is tragically widowed, she can no longer care for Nikki, her delinquent daughter. Nikki is sent to live with her brother Billy, and the two begin forging a healthy bond. After the movie, there will be a facilitated discussion around "Attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder"

(A) maya- Indo Spanish Theatre Performance - Sat, 4th Mar’23 & Sun, 5th Mar’23

(A) maya is the odyssey of two people reminding us that not all who wander are lost. The show engages the viewer on how one's baggage or experiences can mould the forward journey of oneself. Through the realm of physical and visual theatre, Amaya articulates the persistence of going forward.


Tughlaq - Tue, 7th Mar’23

TUGHLAQ is a play about the turbulent rule of Mohammed Bin Tughlaq. The protagonist, Tughlaq had great Ideas and a grand vision, but his reign was an abject failure. Tughlaq was known for his reformist ideas, one of which was shifting the capital from Delhi to Daulatabad in order to have a capital that is in the center of his province. This play covers the consequences that followed this decision. The play dramatically highlights the importance of credibility and authenticity for a leader. The play outline his clover plots to eliminate his opponents and ends with scenes of utter chaos and misery in the kingdom and Tughlaq is being left alone, having been abandoned by those who survived him.

Kannada Play ``Kaaya`` - Wed, 8th Mar’23 - Thu, 9th Mar’23

Kaaya is a devised theatre performance inspired by the vachanas of the 12th-century feminist poet Akkamahadevi. The work brings together text, movement, and music to create visual poetry. The performers use their bodies and voice to create landscapes that bring to life the spiritual, political, and philosophical questions that Akkamahadevi articulated through her vachanas

An Evening of French Choral Music - Gabriel Fauré Requiem - Thu, 2nd Mar’23

The subtlety of Fauré’s music, and his concentration on the small-scale, led many to criticize him for lacking depth, a judgement based on the mistaken premise that the bigger and bolder a composer’s music, the more worthwhile it must be. Fauré deliberately avoided the grander kind of orchestral music that could easily have brought him fame and fortune. He preferred instead to embrace an elegant and subtle musical language that has won him increasing numbers of admirers, particularly as a composer of songs, a genre in which he is now recognized as a master.


As a Stranger I Came… - Fri, 3rd Mar’23

Winterreise is a memory piece, the internal monologue of a man who has returned to the town where he first fell in love, who, as he wanders presently in the cold of winter, his tears freezing as they fall on his cheeks, recalls a life of what might have been. True to the Romantic Era, each of the 24 songs in the cycle is its own  psychological treatise and reflection of the human experience in our natural world.

Gaga/dancers deepens dancers’ awareness of physical sensations, expands their palette of available movement options, enhances their ability to modulate their energy and engage their explosive power, and enriches their movement quality with a wide range of textures. The classes are built on the same principles as Gaga/people classes but also employ the specific vocabulary and skills that are part and parcel of a dancer’s knowledge. The layering of familiar skills with Gaga tasks presents dancers with fresh challenges, and throughout the class, teachers prompt the dancers to visit more unfamiliar places and ways of moving as well, unlocking the endlessness of possibilities. Dancers are guided to connect their effort to pleasure and to discover the virtue of silliness.

Chronicles of Ancient Glory - The Life & Times of Rajaraja & the Cholas - Fri, 3rd Mar’23

Kamini Dandapani, in her new book Rajaraja Chola: King of Kings, explores the man behind the larger-than-life image of Rajaraja and the milieu in which he reigned. It goes into every aspect of Chola society—the place of women, the flowering of culture, including the making of exquisite Chola bronzes, the spread of religion, and the lives of ordinary people. She will be in conversation with Devi Yesodharan.

Compiling the Kalaikkalanjiyam - Sat, 4th Mar’23

In the age of Wikipedia, it has been forgotten how important the Encyclopaedia Britannica once was in the mind of the English-reading Indian. Seen as the supreme repository of knowledge, it was also a status symbol sought as bookshelf adornment. What most people do not know at all is how an intrepid band of Tamil intellectuals, inspired seventy-five years ago by the Britannica, decided to create an encyclopaedia in their own language. They felt a linguistic system as advanced as theirs, with a literary history stretching two millennia, needed to showcase its civilisational achievement: it was imperative that Tamil boast its own encyclopaedia. The odds against realising this ideal were impossible. And yet the project of compiling the Kalaikkalanjiyam – the Tamil Encyclopaedia – began and was soon unstoppable.

Rescuing an Empire - The Times of Madhavrao Peshwa - Sun, 5th Mar’23

In his most recent non-fiction book, Uday S Kulkarni documents the twelve year period after the third battle of Panipat, when the loss resulted in regression of the Maratha power. The sixteen year old Madhavrao assumed the post of Peshwa and in his short tenure faced invasions from without and dissent and discord within his kingdom and even his own family. The English power meanwhile advanced further from Bengal towards Benaras and Allahabad after the battle of Buxar. Though largely it is a movement based session, we welcome people from fully different professions and practitioners of all and any kind of art form. We are also open to any kind of engagement. Conversation during the session range from World politics to deeply personal stories interspersed with a lot of fun, games and sweat. Lahe Lahe brings to you an evening of soul on paper.Every Tuesday we're bringing to you a heart-plucking session of poetry, and good company.Welcoming you all and looking forward to an amazing evening of poetry!!Every week we recite poetry on a theme they would have fixed last week or if not, you can recite any of your poem you would like to share or even a poem you like with credits to the poet. Also we have poet of the week where we talk about the poet and his works.

Regular Art Classes at BCC -  Every Saturday

The class includes a variety of mediums, like acrylic painting, oil painting, watercolour, charcoal, pencil and pen sketching, colour pencils, soft pastels and a lot more. You will be guided through each of these mediums in the level that you are at. The classes will be taught using a wide range of creative exercises and activities. You will be encouraged to develop and follow your own style and creativity, while learning the skills needed to do so.
